Happy First Birthday Collins!
I can’t believe my little baby is already a year old!
I can’t believe it—my sweet baby is one! This past year has flown by, and planning her first birthday party was such a labor of love. I wanted the day to be as special as she is, and I think we achieved just that. With some of my favorite vendors and a lot of DIY touches, Collins’ birthday turned out to be a day we’ll always remember!
We LOVE Maileg mice, in this house!!
There’s just something about these sweet little characters that has captured our hearts. For Collins’ first birthday, I decided to go all in with a Maileg Mice party theme. It’s definitely a niche theme, but I love getting creative, and honestly, making the decor myself is one of my favorite parts of planning a party. I feel like it adds a personal touch and makes everything feel that much more special.
I made a custom highchair banner, a matching hat and bow, a cake topper, and even embroidered Collins’ party dress. The tiny details were everywhere—from the mice’s own little party setup to a whimsical mouse house I created just for the occasion. It was so much fun to bring this vision to life for my sweet girl!

The Cake
Liz from Tiny Bakes is my go-to for cakes. She’s been a friend of mine for years, and she always goes above and beyond for my girls’ birthday cakes. For Collins’ party, Liz created a beautiful cake that fit the theme perfectly. Not only was it gorgeous, but it was also absolutely delicious. Having Liz make the cake is always a special part of our celebrations!

The Cookies
I met Tina from The Sweet Habit shortly after Collins was born, and her cookies are nothing short of amazing. Not only do they taste incredible, but they are also works of art! For Collins’ party, Tina crafted the most stunning sugar cookies that matched the Maileg Mice theme. Every detail was perfection, and her talent continues to blow me away.

The Soft Play/Bounce House
Since this party was all about celebrating Collins and her little friends, I knew we needed something fun for the babies to enjoy. Yasmeen, the owner of Bounce.wN8, is the sweetest! She started her business for her son Nate, and you can tell how much she loves what she does. Her modern bounce house and soft play setup were the perfect addition to the party! The babies had so much fun crawling around and playing—it was a big hit, and I couldn’t have asked for a better setup.

Watching Collins dive into her cake, surrounded by friends and family, was such a heartwarming moment. It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year, but looking back on all the memories we’ve made, I’m so grateful for every minute.
From the handmade decor to the delicious sweets and fun play setup, this day was everything I dreamed it would be and more. We had so much fun celebrating Collins, and I couldn’t have done it without these amazing vendors and friends who made the day even more special.
