F3: Free men’s Bootcamp style workout
6:30-7:30 AM
Looking for some motivation to hit your fitness goals? Don’t want to pay for a personal trainer? Join our free men’s fitness group for peer-led, bootcamp-style workouts.Come this Saturday at 6:30 am for your first F3 workout. There’s no registration or anything like that, just show up about 5-10 mins early to stretch out first. We’ll be playing a game of ultimate frisbee after the workout. Then, we’ll host coffee & donuts after the game!F3 has no monthly dues. It promotes men’s leadership in the community.F3 = Fitness, Fellowship, & Faith

Salamanders @ Jesse Jones

Reservations required beginning Wed., Jan. 13 by calling 281-446-8588. Though reptiles and amphibians are seldom seen this time of year, late winter is a great time to try and find salamanders. Join staff naturalist John Carey to learn about our local salamanders and then explore the park areas where they might be found.

It’s Yoga Time: Family Yoga in the Gardens
10:30AM-11:30AM
Gather the family and head to Mercer Botanic Gardens for some healthy yoga fun! This energetic, beginner yoga class led by registered yoga teacher Delyla Ovalle-Bowyer features individual poses and family-partner poses. Participants should bring a yoga mat or beach towel, and a water bottle. Yoga blocks and straps are optional. All ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This is an outdoor event, so participants should dress for the weather. Registration is required, as space is limited. Consult your physician before starting any exercise program.
