2019 Greater Lake Houston Heart Walk @ Redemption Square at Generation Park

The 2019 Greater Lake Houston Heart Walk, benefiting the lifesaving work of the American Heart Association, will be held on Saturday, November 2nd at Generation Park. Join several thousand individual walkers and local teams in taking steps to improve your heart health while raising funds and awareness for the American Heart Association in its fight against cardiovascular diseases. Heart Walk includes a family-friendly 3-mile walk, survivor celebration, Kids Zone, fitness demos, photo booth, heart-healthy snacks, CPR demos, music, fun games and more. Participation is FREE and walkers who raise money are eligible for prizes. All proceeds from these events go toward the American Heart Association’s research, education, and outreach programs. The 2019 Greater Lake Houston Heart Walk platform sponsor is Generation Park. Additional sponsors include, CareNow, Community Resource Credit Union, Encompass Health, HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood, Kindred Rehabilitation Hospital Northeast Houston, Kingwood Emergency Hospital, Memorial Hermann, Panera Bread and Vital Heart & Vein.
The 2019 Greater Lake Houston Heart Walk is chaired by Noel Cárdenas, Memorial Herman Northeast Hospital and Loan-Anh Kao, McCord Development.

Free Sportball Multi-Sport Classes @Eagle Springs Elementary

Does your child love sports? Sign up for our FREE Sportball class to decide if your child would like to enroll in Fall Session 2. We would love to have your child join us for our free Sportball class at Eagle Springs Elementary. Over the course of a season children will learn the basics of eight different sports(basketball, football, t-ball, soccer, hockey, golf, tennis, and volleyball) in a fun and creative way taught by professional coaches.
– 9:00am – 9:45am is a Parent & Child multi-sport class for ages 16 months – 3 yrs (Parent Participates)
– 9:45 am – 10:45 am is a Coach & Child multi-sport class for ages 3 – 6 yrs (Parent does not participate)
-10:45 am – 11:45 am is a Coach & Child multi-sport class for ages 7-12 yrs (Parent does not participate)
For Parent & Child Classes- Please take only 1 ticket per parent-child group.
For Coach & Child Classes- Parents do not participate but are required to remain on-site (please take only 1 ticket per child).
