Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in Kingwood?
I was born in Peru and came to the United States with my parents when I was 1 year old. I grew up in Pasadena and moved to Atascosita 3 years ago.

I have 2 kids. My daughter is 3 years old and my son is 11 months
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
I’ve been to a live show taping of Late Night with Conan O’Brian in New York and Conan in California. I just recently went to a taping of The Tonight Show with Stephen Colbert.
What is your go-to activity for yourself for pampering or for fun?
For fun, I love Zumba and enjoy playing Just Dance with my daughter. I also love spending time with family and having a picnic outdoors.
Funniest shortcut/routine for helping you through parenthood?
Starting a good sleeping routine early on. It was tough at first but once my kids were on a schedule it allowed me to have some much needed quiet time in the evening. One thing you can try is hiding little presents in their crib/bed so they are excited for bedtime. My daughter loved this!
Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor, or in the
corporate world? Please share!
I have a financial coaching business called Wealth Worthy Life. I help busy working professionals find more time and money to do what they love. Think of me as a personal trainer but for your money. I believe individuals are capable of doing more with their money and it all starts with taking control of their day to day finances.
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
I’ve made some great connections through The Lake Houston Young Entrepreneurs and Professionals Program (YEP). I’ve really enjoyed some of the events they’ve put on to network, professional development, and help our community.
What is the best advice for juggling mommyhood and running a business (or volunteering,
working, etc)?
There really isn’t a perfect balance you can achieve when running a business and being a mom…but you know what, that’s ok! Just know that you can be an amazing mother AND have a successful business.
With two young kids I’ve really had to improve my time management skills but even then sometimes things don’t get scheduled as planned. You just have to go with the flow and know that it’s just a season in life.
What would you tell the old “You” before you had kids?
Take advantage of the time you have! Be clear on your goals and don’t be afraid to dream BIG. The worst thing that can happen is that you regret never going for what you want out of life.
What is your proudest mommy moment?
When they show love, kindness, and compassion towards others. It makes me feel that my husband and I must be doing something right.
Greatest gift about being a mom?
Getting to see my children go through different milestones. I just love it! They’ll keep growing and learning and can’t wait to be there for it all.
Best mom hack that makes mommin’ easier?
When your kids feel frustrated or angry really try to understand how they are feeling by talking to them about it. If you just help them talk through why they are feeling the way they are and have empathy it can go a long way.
What’s your favorite part about what you do?
I love giving people hope. Usually, when people come to me they don’t know where they are with their money and I help provide the clarity they need. It’s an amazing feeling when they realize that it’s possible to live the life they want with a clear plan that will allow them to get there. It’s never too late to turn things around.
What is your favorite thing to do in the HKA area?
I love to go out and discover new places to eat with my family. The area is attracting more and more new businesses and it’s exciting to try new things.
