Marvel vs DC? Which comic universe is your favorite? Who is the best? Which one will win? Come to the Teen Room anytime between July 8 and July 20 to pick up a button that will cast your vote! (And don’t forget! Superhero Lock-In is on Friday, July 26!)What is a button battle? It’s where teens vote on two or more of their favorite fandoms by taking a button they can pin to a backpack or anything else. Kids Cafe @ Baldwin Boettcher Library

In partnership with the Houston Food Bank, Baldwin Boettcher will be offering a free healthy lunch for children of all ages and their caretakers. This program will begin June 3rd and will run through August 2nd. Lunch will be served under the Tree House.

Second Saturday Settlers: Pioneer Tools @ Jesse Jones Park

Visitors of all ages are invited out to the Redbud Hill Pioneer Homestead as park staff and volunteers bring the 1800s to life. Demonstrations on the use of many of the tools of trades and crafts of the time period will be ongoing throughout the program.

Evening Canoe Trip @ Jesse Jones Park- Ages 16+

Visitors can beat the heat and enjoy a leisurely guided paddle down Spring Creek.

Movies Under the Moon @ Kings Harbor
Join Kings Harbor for the summer movie series Movies Under the Moon this June – August! Bring your chairs and sit back to enjoy a movie under the stars. On Friday, July 12, bring out the kids to enjoy the popular animated film, Incredibles 2. Come early for a great seat and grab a bag of popcorn at Dapper Darlings. Our Humble Urban Air Trampoline & Adventure Park is the perfect destination for residents in Humble, Kingwood, Atascocita and surrounding communities. Urban Air will provide weekly events and kids birthday parties for all ages and fitness levels.

Urban Air Humble is conveniently located where you can drop the kids off for some healthy fun while you go shop, to a movie or on a date night. If you prefer to stay that’s GREAT, Urban Air Humble has space where you can watch the kiddos play while you enjoy a coffee, watch TV or work on your computer.

Here at Natural Pawz not only are we dedicated to helping pets that have a home, but also helping those in need. That’s why we love Wags to Whiskers of Texas. Not only can you meet a few of the animals out of the hundreds they have saved, but you can also become a foster, adopt, volunteer, but you can also meet cat experts who would love to answer any questions you have on diet, behavior & more. Wags to Whiskers of Texas, Inc. is a non-profit organization promoting and providing for the rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption of small animals through fostering, sheltering and education. Our focus is not only on rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption, but also on educating the public on responsible pet ownership, including proper care, housing, training, and spay/neuter. Our goal is that through responsible pet ownership, the rate of unwanted animals will decrease and fewer animals will be euthanized for the lack of a home.
