In partnership with the Houston Food Bank, Baldwin Boettcher will be offering a free healthy lunch for children of all ages and their caretakers. This program will begin June 3rd and will run through August 2nd. Lunch will be served under the Tree House.

Rock A Bye Readers @ Atascocita Library

Rock-a-Bye Readers is a gentle early-learning experience focusing on the interaction between parent and child. We enjoy sing-alongs, book sharing, and play. This is a mixed-age program geared toward infants. *Priority Registration for a one-month block is recommended and becomes open on the last Friday of the previous month. Registered participants not present by 1:10 may lose their spots to walk-ins. For safety reasons, the capacity for this program is determined by the composition of the group.

Join Kings Harbor for the summer movie series Movies Under the Moon this June – August! Bring your chairs and sit back to enjoy a movie under the stars. On Friday, June 7, bring out your friends, family, and brides-to-be to enjoy the popular film, Princess Bride, presented by Whittington Bridal. Come early for a great seat and grab a bag of popcorn at Dapper Darlings. Kings Harbor previews will begin at 8:30 PM, with the movie beginning, shortly after and will play on a massive 32-foot wide screen near The Green.

Here at Natural Pawz not only are we dedicated to helping pets that have a home, but also helping those in need. That’s why we love Wags to Whiskers of Texas. Not only can you meet a few of the animals out of the hundreds they have saved, but you can also become a foster, adopt, volunteer, but you can also meet cat experts who would love to answer any questions you have on diet, behavior & more. Wags to Whiskers of Texas, Inc. is a non-profit organization promoting and providing for the rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption of small animals through fostering, sheltering and education. Our focus is not only on rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption, but also on educating the public on responsible pet ownership, including proper care, housing, training, and spay/neuter. Our goal is that through responsible pet ownership, the rate of unwanted animals will decrease and fewer animals will be euthanized for the lack of a home.

Teddy Bear ER @ Kingwood Branch Library-Hosted By Kingwood Emergency Hospital

Come to the Kingwood Branch Library for a story and a special care unit set up to treat your child’s teddy bear or favorite stuffed pal or doll. They will get to check blood pressure, take temperatures, bandage wounds, and splint broken “bones”. It’s a great way to introduce your child to what it means to visit the ER and to alleviate common fears. Board Certified ER Dr. Kim Waaso will be on hand to answer questions for parents. It is fun and just adorable! We’ll have Prescriptions to give each participant a sweet treat. Join Us!

Kiddo’s get to explore their inner creativity by joining our 2-hour painting lesson taught by local artists – no previous art experience needed! Art Buzz Kids is recommended for ages 5 and up and EVERYONE can join in on the fun! Adults are welcome but must have a child accompany them. Kids can be dropped off while you run your errands, go shopping, or have a day date!
