Geocaching is a GPS-guided, family-friendly worldwide scavenger hunt, and Jones Park is ground zero for the day’s fun! Bring your GPS unit or GPS-enabled smartphone to learn about this outdoor game with several courses that users of all skill levels can play
March Mart Plant Sale @ Mercer Botanic Gardens

March Mart is one of the largest and most anticipated horticultural events along the Texas Gulf Coast. Visitors enjoy a huge selection of premium plants rarely found at local retail nurseries, as well as experts from local organizations that allow gardeners with similar interests to share ideas and information. This annual fundraiser is sponsored by The Mercer Society, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, that supports special projects and educational programs at Mercer.

Rock A Bye Readers @ Atascocita Library

Rock-a-Bye Readers is a gentle early-learning experience focusing on the interaction between parent and child. We enjoy sing-alongs, book sharing, and play. This is a mixed-age program geared toward infants. *Priority Registration for a one-month block is recommended and becomes open on the last Friday of the previous month. Registered participants not present by 1:10 may lose their spots to walk-ins. For safety reasons, the capacity for this program is determined by the composition of the group.

A kid-friendly, teacher-led painting class with a St. Patrick’s Day theme!
Enjoy a kid-friendly “Chicken and Painting” class on Saturday, March 16th called Cows and Canvases: St. Patrick’s Day! There are 4-time slots to choose from 4 PM, 5 PM, 6 PM, or 7 PM. We must limit each time slot to 12 participants. Participants will go home with their painted canvas at the end of the class and we encourage you to enjoy a family dinner before or after class. Only painters need a ticket!
St. Paddy’s Day Party @ Life Time Fitness-Lake Houston

Bring your wee lads and lasses to Life Time for St. Paddy’s Day fun. Kids will head out on a treasure hunt, get green with arts and crafts, play trivia and maybe even find a pot of gold — if they’re lucky. Register at the Activity Center.
