Child(ren) and Age(s)? A Son named Christian (I mean HOW cute is he!!!)
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
I was in the hospital for 2 months while pregnant with my son. My son was born 2 months early he weighed less than two pounds when he was born. He stayed in the NICU for 3 months after he was born too. While I was in the hospital, I wrote scripture on the walls and the windows and wouldn’t let anyone negative in my room.
What is your go-to activity for yourself for pampering or for fun?
Tanning. I like to run. I used to run before the baby but not much time for that now.
Funniest shortcut/routine for helping you through parenthood?
I take my time for God in the morning. It really helps me when I make time for God.
Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor, or in the corporate world? Please share!
I started Fresh Prints of Belarie three years ago. I have also have worked at Mud Pie for 13 or 14 years now, I am the Manager and custom artist.
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where
you are now?
Word of mouth, Facebook has been amazing for me. Mud Pie has been a huge part of my success too.
What is the best advice for juggling mommyhood and running a business (or volunteering, working, etc)?
Since I am an artist, I am very scattered brained.
But my favorite thing to do is to make a list. Just the simple fact of checking something off once its completed is so satisfying.
What is your proudest mommy moment?
My son. He was a super premature baby when he was born. But he has no health issues, no premie problems. He is my reminder every day that God is in control.
What is your favorite thing to do in the HKA area?
Running on the greenbelts. That is my favorite time for just me.
