Nature Discovery Camp [email protected] The Beehive Boutique & Garden

Learn about the life cycle of a butterfly, and plant seeds for a host or nectar plant to take home. Study caterpillars, and butterflies up close.
Join us for a fun scavenger hunt to locate and identify Plants, Trees, Butterflies, Bugs And Bees throughout the Garden Center.
Collect clues and a prize!
The workshop fee is $40 per child, which covers the cost
of class/workshop supplies, take home craft and snack.
Space is limited and advance reservations are required.
Reservations may be made by sending an email request to [email protected]
In person registration is also available at the Garden Center.

Registration and Liability Release Form.
Parent or Guardian of child/children attending must complete the Registration and Liability Release Form. Prior to the start of the class. This is necessary for each child in attendance.
You will receive a confirmation email, which will include the Registration and Liability Release Form.
This can be filled out and emailed back to [email protected]
or brought into the garden center prior to the class.
Payment may be made at the garden center in advance, over the phone, or on site on the day of the class.

Every seed is full of potential, so let’s explore what they need to grow and thrive! Enjoy potting up a flower combo
Good Bees vs Bad Bugs
Bee informed about good bees versus bad bees and how to identify them, as well as honeybee pests within the beehive.

Camp Tips/More Info
Parent Attendance:
Parents are required to attend with their child and stay on site
for the duration of the session.
Attire:
Have your child wear comfortable outdoor clothes and closed-toe shoes with socks. No sandals please. Hats, sunscreen, and insect repellent recommended. Notify us if you do not want sunscreen or insect repellent on your child.
Cell phones:
In keeping with the outdoor learning experience, we discourage
cell phone use during camp sessions..
Photography
The Beehive Boutique & Garden staff and volunteers occasionally take photographs of programs for promotional purposes. Please let us know if you do not want your child photographed.
Water:
Children have access to water during each session, but we recommend bringing a refillable or recyclable water bottle as well.
Weather:
This camp is 100% outdoors; if inclement weather causes concern, we will notify you via email by 8:30 a.m. if camp is cancelled for the da
